The team at L J Hooker Port Douglas pride themselves on the fact that they put back into the community as much as they receive from the Port Douglas community. All of the staff live in the Port Douglas region because they love the lifestyle and being part of a small, caring community.
Since the agency was purchased in 2004 by the present owners, Michael and Kylie Samson and Kylie’s parents Des and Jill McPherson, L J Hooker Port Douglas has actively supported all the schools in the region, The Neighbourhood Centre, numerous sporting clubs including Douglas Little Athletics, and individual fund raising for families facing unexpected crises.
The main achievement has been the raising of over $150,000 for Cystic Fibrosis Queensland and their on-going commitment to supporting this charity which provides much needed support to families in the Far North Queensland Region who are affected by this disease.
This is a great community and we are proud to be part of it.
