Supporting our cyclone affected neighbours

Cyclone Jasper may have spoiled our 12 Days of Christmas, but he can't deter our sense of community!

Mr Hooker Bear and the team recently partnered with IGA Supa Port Douglas and the Port Douglas Neighbourhood Centre to donate some grocery vouchers for our neighbours affected by Jasper and the associated storm event that followed.

Members from the Port Douglas Neighbourhood Centre delivered the vouchers and other donated goods to support centres in Cooktown, Hope Vale and Wujal Wujal.

T'Kehya Nandy from Wujal Wujal Community Care said the community were very appreciative of the donations.

"It really did mean a lot to us," she said.
